Less than 1% of the
potential 83,000 MW of hydropower has been developed in Nepal. Owing to
this fact Nepal has a huge possibility of hydropower generation. This
allows Nepal to potentially sell its surplus power to those in demand.
The government of Nepal has pledged to produce 10,000 MW of power in 10
years.
IBN wishes to help achieve this goal via our technical expertise and affiliations with International industrial leaders in the water resources and hydropower engineering sector. IBN can act as a bridge between Nepal’s government and industries that specializes in hydropower projects, including dams, power stations, and transport and storage solutions to handover of turnkey projects. We are looking forward to facilitating foreign investors in the hydropower sector in Nepal.
